Ein Dafna Water Spring - (Nablus, West Bank)

In Nablus water has always had a particular place. Moreover, due to the conflict between Israel and Palestine water is today, more than ever, a geopolitical resource.

(EN) Historical accounts say that the Canaanite city relied on the water spring “Ain Dafna,” located east of the city, and on Ain Askar, Balata, and Jacob’s Well. A pump station now provides water for 16 Nablus's neighborhood areas from this water source.


(FR) Selon les récits historiques, la ville cananéenne (-4500 av J.C) s'appuyait sur la source "Ain Dafna", situé à l'est de la ville, et sur Ain Askar, Balata et le puits de Jacob. Une station de pompage fournit désormais de l'eau à 16 quartiers de Naplouse à partir de cette source d'eau.
